🚢 🤚 Some anti-progress lessons from the port workers strike
It's an amazing and frustrating Down Wing phenomenon
Well, here we go. Dockworkers from the International Longshoremen's Association began striking at East Coast and Gulf Coast ports after their contract expired. The work stoppage affects over half of US import/export volumes. A wage dispute is just the beginning, however. Even after reaching an agreement on compensation, the two sides face contentious negotiations over critical issues like dock automation.
