Thank you for this analysis. It's helpful to read optimistic takes like this. I know that critics would point to the steep rise in gig economy workers in the bottom graph - although undoubtedly a better option than unemployment, it does come with high insecurity and a loss of sick pay and paid leave (and insurance in the US), which has a real affect on quality of life for individuals and families. How do you see this being mitigated?
