Fixing that carbon-based bottleneck of brainpower bandwidth should be at the forefront of how policymakers think about economic growth. I bring this issue up because of a new study on entrepreneurship and innovation that offers compelling evidence for what economists have long suspected: Lots of high-IQ talent is an essential ingredient for national technological advancement.
