Reading this interview which has great explanatory value for how we got to where we are (and have been since Apollo), makes me wonder if we would get similar explanations; if you did an interview with someone similarly in the know about how we go about trying to build our very large and very expensive defense systems. The scary part being there is no Space X for our defense systems just the "Apollo" dynamic. If yes are the Chinese similarly handicapped? If not, we would seemingly be running really bad risks with our national security.
